HEAL in the LIGHT of this HARVEST SUPER MOON:

The Force is with You

Cosmologically Speaking, to those who are open, the imminent Super Harvest Full Moon, so close in its orbit to earth, sheds its gentle radiant light on whatever may be blocking our flow in life.   Geoff Chester of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington DC says "The last full moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993.  It is worth a look."

The Force is with You to Harvest the Power of Your Mind/Body Communication Link.

 What a great time to delve into reflections on your physical mental health.  It is an excellent time to harvest what you have gained from yoga, meditation, dance and qigong - all activities that focus on the mind, body, spirit union with God/Goddess/Uni-verse. What are you doing, or not doing, with your body that is generating mental/emotional frustration or inspiration?  What are you doing, or not doing, with your mind that is negatively or positively impacting your body?  Which habits can you harvest from both of these realms to move into more ease?  As many of us know, our thoughts are the seeds of our life gardens.  When watered by habitual thinking and regular feelings, they always manifest.

It is a good time to pay attention to the role of your feet.  Take care of them.

Purification and Clearing

It is a time to purify thinking habits, hearts, and environments so that we may feel the healing potency of being at one with one another and nature. Clearing out closets and any other areas of your home that will increase environmental health is cosmologically supported under the light of this full moon.  Recently my youngest sister shared that she was cleaning out her closet and organizing it.  She asked me if I had heard of Marie Kondo's perspective on this.  I had on a morning television show. I love her advice on what to keep and what to let go.  She says to "release anything that does not bring you joy."

Music, Poetry, Math, Physics

Allow yourself to delight in music, poetry, and foods from other cultures.  It is a good time to take a course on one of these universal languages to fuel your connection with the unifying individual/collective net.

Money 

Reviewing your sources of money flow can be rewarding under the light of this full moon.  It is a good time to evaluate your business for new efficient ways of increasing your cash flow.

Clearing Residue Karma

Karma is the great teacher of cause and effect.  It is neither good or bad.  It is simply a mechanical law.  What we continuously feel in our hearts is one of the greatest generators of karmic law.  Karma can seem like an oppressive inevitable wheel that is impossible to exit.  It needn't be so.  One of the most efficient ways to intervene in the apparent irrepressive wave of karma is to focus on intent - beyond the intent of mind into intent from heart.  We do have choice in this matter.  Set your intention by writing it down.  Place what you have written under a glass of water.  Let it sit for 20 minutes and then drink it.

The Feelings:  Grief, Joy and Love

Grief, love and joy are the feelings that generally need time to process in the ways each of us needs...and we must honor these processes.  However, there are ways to intervene into the darkest despair of grief.  I have found the Bach Remedy called Rescue Remedy to be exceptionally effective in shifting relentless mental and heart pain so that inspiration and insight can flow in.  Consult your wholistic health practitioner on its use in these situations.

In my meditation class I am focusing on helping students discover and release residue karmic patterns that may be creating an outdated filter through which life is perceived and experienced.  We are working with breathing and mantra practices to cleanse the five perceptual senses that influence our minds and hearts. This full moon creates an unusual support for this release.

People You are with During This Super Full Moon

Look at the people you find yourself with today.   You may find people from your past showing up this weekend.  It is likely that you have a past life connection with them.  What a time to be in communion with loved ones who have passed on.  Hello Beloved Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Mimi.

All Types of Healing

Finally, open yourself to be healed.  A genuine plea to who or whatever is the destination of your prayers could prove quite beneficial at this time.  Allow your tougher ways of operating in the world soften to receive divine guidance.  Radiate from your heart and shine!

Cosmologically Speaking, this New Moon in Leo is an excellent opportunity to evaluate affairs of your heart and set the stage for a new chapter.   Today, until August 24th, the following areas are up for review:

1.  LEADERSHIP

Leo is the lion - king of the jungle.  It is all about leadership.  Each of us has our unique area and ways of leading.  Anyone who has more than one set of eyes watching and depending upon them is a leader.  The strongest leader does so from the heart and soul.  Name three of your passions.  Which one can you not live without?  How would you like it to go forward? Today is a good day to write down or speak aloud your next-step intention(s).  Humility in the mix makes leadership particularly effective.

2.  YOUR DIVINE CHILD WITHIN

Sometimes when these passions do not readily appear for my clients I ask: What was your favorite way of playing as a child when you were completely absorbed in your own world, and the rest of the world disappeared?  If you do not remember how you played, what was your favorite activity - reading, being social, sitting quietly in nature or sports activities?  Before you may have been conditioned by others, the child in you was in touch with the Creator.  Play is the expression of your divinity.  The activity in which you were completely absorbed as a child holds a key to your heart and soul's passions.  This is a good time to set your intentions for playing on a daily basis.

3.  YOUR CREATIVITY

Leo, the lion-hearted, does not necessarily like to be tied to a particulat schedule.  Spontaneity in creative expression is emblematic of what makes Leo tick.  Creativity makes life much more fun.  It channels stress into delightful ways of connecting with the world.  It brings your heart to the world. Courage, humor and compassion are required to creatively express yourself.  How are you expressing your creativity?  Dare to set new intentions for expressing yourself.

4.  LOVE

Love and romance are under the spotlight over the next two weeks.  How do you express your love? How are you loved?  Is it working for you?  If not, feel what your heart wants and needs... and set the intention.  Write down as much detail as possible.  To avoid creating a 'love butterfly with only one wing' be sure to write down a column that shows what you wish to give in return to correspond with each of your desires.  It is not the best time to make any sudden changes at this time.


5.  THE ROYAL YOU

Trust your authentic nature.  When you discover the ways and means that support you being YOU, you are promoting your life to be fueled by your royal nature -- the pure you.  It may not be easy at first if you haven't been living in the royal you.  However, if you persist in your clear intentions you will find that the universe seems to conspire to move life in your favor.  Things will start to fall into place.  Resources and helpful people will show up.  Living from your heart and soul has many benefits including your health, peace of mind, spiritual fulfillment... and the legacy you leave for loved ones.  What is your plan for stepping into your royal self?

     Cosmologically Speaking, there are positive changes afoot for each of us to howl about. With the combination of Venus retrograde (July 25th - September 6th) and Uranus retrograde (July 26th - December 25th/26th) and the imminent full "Blue Moon' the hot topic is freedom - freedom from whatever is holding you and humanity back from progressing into a healthy way forward. Venus Retrograde (July 25th - September 6th)

During this time whatever is not working in your love life will be under the microscope. Energetic focus will be lodged upon romance - how you want it to show up in your life, the types of adventures you desire...romantic and business, your relationships to children, your inner divine child, your creativity, theater and all ways of having fun will be rather charged (until July 31st). Then a deep inner analysis on what you value most in all types of relationships will expand your capacity to love and be loved. You will be able to gain clarity on how important discernment is in the ways you love. Who do you allow into your inner circle? What is your criteria? Stagnant aspects of personal relationships will be difficult to tolerate. It is an excellent time to deepen existing relationships and end ones that no longer bring joy. Old lovers may appear to complicate matters. Getting in touch with your values around love, finances, and beauty will be your inner GPS (August 1st - September 6th)...

Uranus Retrograde (July 26th - December 25th)
Who am I...and why am I here? These persistent existential questions are spotlighted under the inner glare of this iteration of Uranus Retrograde or internalized. Whatever you put in the blank: I am _________________, will become manifest quicker than you may have previously thought possible. Although Uranus is not classically assigned to personal matters, rather to universal themes, it behooves each of us to strive to become more of our universal selves. Breaking away from group attitudes that do not promote freedom and compassion for all beings and creatures is one of the best moves you could possibly make. Under this second full moon this month (the meaning of a blue moon) you may feel the need to assert your unique individual nature. Rebellion from limiting conventions may stir in your soul.
